1942 – American LaFrance straight chassis Ladder Truck. The 65 foot metal Aerial was hydraulically lifted, and carried a full compliment of ground ladders as well as 250 feet of 3/4 inch hose and a 100 gallon tank which was pumped by a small booster pump. Received on February 24, 1942. This Truck then was sent to Truck Company #26.
1954-Received a 1941 Mack “L” Model 19 with double bank 85 foot Aerial built by BFD Repair Shop in 1938 using an Ahren’s Fox Hoist.
The rig was formerly Truck Company #1 from 1941-1943 then Truck Company #16 from 1916-1954. The Truck was delivered on December 1, 1954, on hand was Auxiliary Firefighter Fred Rafferty who’s photo (Left) show’s it was still lettered as Truck Company #16. This was Truck Company #15’s first motorized tiller truck. The Truck was then sent to Truck Company #21.
