Truck Company #15 was organized July 1, 1907 in their new quarters located on the Northeast corner of Montford Avenue and Mura Street (General Order #462). The two story brick building was built at a cost of $20,859.00. The lot was 100 feet by 30 feet at a cost of $3003.00
The Company was placed in Service at 0800 hours on May 12, 1908 (General Order #533), using an 1884 three horse drawn Hayes Aerial Ladder, formerly Hook and Ladder #4 & Hook and Ladder #11. The new Captain was Emil Heise, from Truck Company #2.
Effective January 1, 1908, per Departmental order # ___, Hook and Ladder Companies will now be know as Truck Companies, therefore, Truck Company #15 was never known as Hook and Ladder #15. House Box was formerly 2324. Currently known as Box Area T15-6.
